The Grid-Gone Project (GGP) is a non-profit endeavor to develop, educate the public about, and support implementation of the Grid-Gone System. We are currently in the process of registering as a 501c3 organization.
For decades, national, state, and local governments have known that the national grid system is vulnerable to acts of sabotage, terrorism, cyber-terror, man-made electromagnetic pulses (EMPs) and natural phenomena such a solar storms (from solar flares and coronal mass ejections) which can themselves create EMPs. Very little has been done to strengthen the system against these possibilities. Many green initiatives, such as electric vehicle mandates, further strain already strained systems. Governments have been demonstrably unwilling to act to protect the grids. Therefore, they will fail sooner or later.
At the same time, we’ve seen the erosion of communities, the growing desolation of farmland due to unnatural and destructive industrial practices, and an inhuman creeping corporate oligarchy working overtime to monopolize the most essential aspects of our economy. This is where we come in.
Here is what the Grid-Gone System aims to do:
•Minimize reliance on national and regional grids and other networks layered on them (such as trade and transport).
•Encourage local, sustainable production of food, conservation of water resources, and over-all protection of the environment.
•Encourage the creation of sustainable and mutually supporting communities outside of and parallel to established corporate or political bodies.
•Provide excess produce and farm products to support local communities through farmers markets, food banks, restaurants, and other partnerships.
So, what is the Grid-Gone System?
We will go into each of these 3 Pillars in posts to follow. Right now, let’s just say that we are taking these three concepts that already exist independently of each other, and working to incorporate them into a cohesive, unified system.
Our Mission Statement:
Our goal is to forge a harmonious future where individuals collaborate with one another and nature. Drawing on deep social traditions, modern psychology, and cutting-edge science, we aim to establish a self-sustaining lifestyle independent of national grids, complex trade routes, and undue reliance on multinational corporations. Our belief in the inherent goodness and creativity of humanity drives us to reset the balance between humans and nature, paving the way for a future characterized by improved well-being, meaningful connections, and Abundant Life.
We will further explain all of those terms in future posts. (We were just trying to cram big ideas and sentiments into a couple of sentences!)
